Zelenski: There are 10,000 North Korean soldiers on Russian territory
Kyiv, February 20 (Hibya) - Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski stated that the war experience gained by 10,000 North Korean soldiers on Russian territory poses a global threat.
In a statement regarding the latest developments in the Russia-Ukraine war, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski drew attention to the presence of North Korean troops on Russia’s side and the dangerous consequences of this situation.
Noting that North Korean soldiers are receiving training in modern warfare technologies, Zelenski said, “There are currently 10,000 North Korean soldiers on Russian territory. It is extremely dangerous for them to gain knowledge about modern hybrid warfare. They know how to defend against missiles and various types of unmanned aerial vehicles, including fiber-optic drones.”
Zelenski stated that these soldiers are gaining this experience directly on the battlefield during Ukraine’s counteroffensives, saying, “They are learning on Russian territory because we are responding to Russia’s attacks. So they have seized this opportunity. What will they do with this knowledge? At the very least, they will take this information and experience back to North Korea.”
