Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held talks with Austrian Foreign Minister Beate Meinl-Reisinger.

Speaking about cooperation between the two countries, Sybiha said, “We discussed steps to advance bilateral cooperation and expand trade and partnership, including Ukraine's recovery process. We welcome the involvement of Austrian businesses both now and in the future.”

Assessing Ukraine’s EU membership, Sybiha stated, “We also discussed regional and European developments, Ukraine’s EU accession and the EU’s sanctions pressure on Russia to counter its aggression and terrorism. I am grateful to Beate for her openness, realism and values-based approach.”

Emphasizing Austria’s support for Ukraine, Sybiha said, “Austria provides comprehensive support to Ukraine at every level — from the federal government to the states, communities and all Austrians. Austria proves that neutrality does not mean indifference.”
