Ukrainian President Zelenski held a meeting with French Europe and Foreign Affairs Minister Jean-Noel Barrot.

They discussed defense support, especially air defense capabilities, soldier training, and the results of the Ramstein meetings. Zelenski said they are ready to expand joint defense production.

Zelenski noted the decision of French companies to start producing drones in Ukraine, stating:

“This is extremely valuable. We also discussed sanctions against Russia and Ukraine’s EU membership negotiations. I thank France, President Macron, and personally Mr. Barrot for the support we have felt since the early days of the war. Thank you for your solidarity with our people!”
