WHO: "We Are Concerned About the Resumption of Conflicts in Gaza"
DEREN KOCAMANOĞLU - December 1, 2023 - HIBYA - Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO), expressed deep concern about the resumption of conflicts in Gaza.
Ghebreyesus emphasized that the healthcare system has been paralyzed due to ongoing conflicts and said, "Gaza cannot afford to lose more hospitals or hospital beds. We need a ceasefire. A permanent ceasefire."
