Geneva, March 13 (Hibya) – The World Health Organization (WHO) announced that Tanzania has officially declared the end of the Marburg virus disease outbreak.
In a statement from WHO, it was stated that Tanzania has officially declared the end of the Marburg virus disease outbreak.
The statement noted that the Ministry of Health declared the outbreak over after 42 days with no new cases. "This is a victory for public health in the country," the statement said.
