WHO: "Over 75% of Epilepsy Patients Lack Access to Treatment"
The World Health Organization (WHO) reported that over 75% of epilepsy patients living in low-income countries lack access to treatment.
In a statement from the WHO, it was said: "With access to healthcare services and appropriate medications, most epilepsy patients can live without seizures. However, over 75% of epilepsy patients living in low-income countries lack access to treatment. Urgent measures are needed to provide support for epilepsy patients."
