Geneva, December 20 (Hibya) - The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that healthcare workers in the Lebanon region are facing difficulties due to the displacement or migration of thousands of people.
The World Health Organization (WHO) stated that healthcare workers in the Lebanon region are facing difficulties due to the displacement or migration of thousands of people.
In its statement, the WHO noted, "Since October 2023, more than 530 healthcare workers and patients have been killed or injured in attacks on healthcare services. WHO focuses on improving trauma care, training specialists, and replenishing vital medical supplies, including prosthetics and assistive products."
