According to CCTV, Gaza Civil Defense spokesperson Mahmoud Basal stated that many buildings have completely collapsed due to adverse weather conditions.

It was reported that strong winds and heavy rainfall destroyed or flooded more than 90% of the temporary tents sheltering displaced people, further complicating the local population’s struggle for survival.

The Gaza Health Authority announced that at least 12 people, including a two-week-old baby, have died due to hypothermia or weather-related building collapses.

The Civil Defense Unit called on the international community to provide urgent assistance for the people of Gaza.
