Wadephul: I call on Russia to accept Ukraine’s proposal
Berlin, May 5 (Hibya) - German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul made a statement regarding Ukraine’s stance on a ceasefire and negotiations.
German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul shared his country’s assessments regarding peace initiatives in the region and Ukraine’s proposals.
Highlighting Ukraine’s approach, Wadephul said: “Ukraine has once again demonstrated that it is ready for an immediate ceasefire and negotiations.”
Calling on Russia, Wadephul stated: “Therefore, I call on Russia to accept Ukraine’s proposal and to begin the ceasefire tonight.”
