UNRWA: Forced displacement continues in Gaza
New York, February 24 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that forced displacement continues in Gaza.
UNRWA stated that forced displacement in Gaza is ongoing, with approximately two-thirds of the population living in overcrowded areas, often in tents that provide limited protection against weather conditions.
In a statement, UNRWA said, “Conditions remain harsh; access to services is limited and security concerns persist,” noting that humanitarian needs are increasing due to shortages of food, water and medicine.
The statement added, “The uninterrupted delivery of aid remains vital.”
