UNRWA: Children’s right to education must be protected
New York, February 20 (Hibya) — The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) stated that protecting the right to education of children in Gaza is essential to help them build their future.
In a statement, UNRWA emphasized that children in Gaza are experiencing unimaginable hardships.
The statement, highlighting the importance of safeguarding their right to education to help them build their future, said:
“UNRWA is currently providing them with education in temporary learning spaces and online. The education of girls and boys in Gaza depends on UNRWA — and so does their future. No matter what, UNRWA continues its work.”
