UNRWA: Ceasefire in Gaza is more critical than ever
New York, January 9 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) stated that more humanitarian aid needs to be delivered to Gaza and emphasized that the ceasefire is more critical than ever.
UNRWA declared that delivering more humanitarian aid to Gaza and achieving a ceasefire are of utmost importance.
The statement highlighted that the war in Gaza has entered its fifteenth month, with hundreds of thousands of people continuing to live in overcrowded UNRWA schools converted into shelters. "Playgrounds for children are becoming homes for displaced persons," the statement said.
