UNRWA: Approximately 800,000 people estimated to have fled Rafah
New York, May 19 (Hibya) - The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) announced that approximately 800,000 people are estimated to have fled Rafah since the intensification of military operations.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was reported that forced displacement of people continues in the Gaza Strip.
The statement noted that approximately 800,000 people are estimated to have fled Rafah since the intensification of military operations, stating, "Families are fleeing in search of safety, but living conditions are deteriorating day by day, and there is no safe place in the Gaza Strip."
