UNRWA: 85% of school buildings in Gaza Strip directly hit or damaged
New York, August 3 (Hibya) – The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) reported that 85 percent of school buildings in the Gaza Strip were directly hit or damaged.
In a statement from UNRWA, it was stated that according to satellite assessments by the Global Education Cluster, 85 percent of school buildings in the Gaza Strip were directly hit or damaged:
“Some of these schools will need to be completely rebuilt. The war is destroying the present and future of Palestinian children.”
