Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: One person killed in Dnipro region
Kyiv, December 8 (Hibya) – The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Russia carried out airstrikes on multiple regions of Ukraine during the night of December 8.
According to the ministry’s statement, the Russian airstrikes resulted in civilian casualties and widespread destruction.
It was reported that one person was killed and five others – including two children – were injured in the Dnipro region. Residential buildings, an administrative facility, and vehicles were damaged. The statement also noted that in Chernihiv, a Russian-made drone crashed into a residential building, injuring three people, one of whom was hospitalized.
The statement continued:
"In the Sumy region, a Russian drone strike on a nine-story building in Okhtyrka caused fires in several apartments between the 2nd and 5th floors. Rescue teams evacuated 35 people and rescued seven others, including one child, from the damaged apartments."
