Tsahkna: Russia’s crimes will not be erased from the world stage
Tallinn, December 11 (Hibya) – Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that the crimes committed by Russia will not disappear from the world stage and that these actions will have consequences.
Tsahkna noted that yesterday the UN General Assembly adopted a crucial draft resolution aimed at strengthening international cooperation in addressing the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.
He emphasized the importance of highlighting the severe and lasting impacts of nuclear disasters and demanding accountability from those who continue to target nuclear facilities. “Russia and Belarus attempted to introduce an alternative text that removed references to attacks on Chernobyl nuclear facilities, but their attempt failed,” he said.
Tsahkna reiterated that Russia’s crimes will not be erased from the world stage and that these actions will have consequences.
