Tsahkna: Estonia stands in full solidarity with the UAE and our Gulf partners
Tallinn, May 9 (Hibya) - Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna held a meeting with United Arab Emirates (UAE) Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and delivered a message of support and solidarity against the attacks in the region.
Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna stated that Iran’s actions against the UAE and other Gulf countries violate international law, emphasizing the importance of stability in the region.
Providing information about the content of the meeting, Tsahkna said: “I spoke with my colleague in the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, about Iran’s unjust and ongoing attacks against the United Arab Emirates and other Gulf countries.”
Drawing attention to the impact of the attacks on civilians, Tsahkna stated: “These attacks endanger civilians, violate international law, and must stop.”
Clarifying Estonia’s strategic stance in the region, Minister Tsahkna said: “Estonia stands in full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates and our Gulf partners and supports efforts to restore stability and keep the Strait of Hormuz open.”
