US President Donald Trump drew attention to the impact of tariff and tax-cut policies on factory investments within the United States.

Sharing figures on the pace of factory construction and the automotive sector, Trump said, “Thousands of factories are currently being built. They are being built and will open over the next year and a half. More automobile factories are currently being built than during the golden age of the automobile industry.”

Emphasizing the results of the trade policies being implemented, Trump said, “The reason for this is tax cuts, but the main reason is tariffs.”
