Syrian Foreign Minister al-Shaibani holds talks with Saudi counterpart
Damascus, October 11 (Hibya) - Syrian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani held a telephone conversation with Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah Al Saud.
According to a statement from the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, the latest developments in the region were discussed during the conversation.
Al-Shaibani affirmed Syria's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia amid escalating Houthi attacks on civilian facilities. He stated that Saudi Arabia's security was linked to the security of Syria and the region and extended his condolences for those killed in the attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh.
Al-Shaibani said, "Saudi Arabia's security is an inseparable part of the security of Syria and the region."
The conversation emphasized the importance of strengthening joint cooperation and coordination and intensifying efforts to consolidate security, stability, and peace in the region.
