Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Syrian Arab Republic issued a statement regarding Israeli airstrikes on the Abu al-Duhur military airport in Idlib province.

The ministry said it condemned the attacks “in the strongest terms,” describing Israel's actions as “unjustified aggression,” a “clear violation” of Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and a dangerous escalation threatening security and stability in the region.

Syria said Israeli attacks have continued since December 8, 2024, and that during this period the Syrian state has pursued a policy of restraint, seeking to consolidate stability and prevent escalation.

The statement argued that the Israeli attacks were an attempt to undermine these efforts and push the region toward further tension and instability.

Syria held Israel responsible for the escalation and called on the international community and the United Nations Security Council to clearly condemn the attack and take a firm stance against repeated violations of Syrian sovereignty.

The statement also said Syria would continue to defend its rights and national interests through legitimate means guaranteed by international law and norms.
