Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Sybiha spoke with his Portuguese counterpart, Paulo Rangel.

Providing information on the consequences of Russia’s attacks and Ukraine’s urgent needs, Sybiha said: “Russia deliberately exploits harsh weather conditions to intensify its terror against civilians.”

Sybiha noted that the talks focused on ways to increase energy and military support, which are vital for protecting civilians, strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, and securing critical infrastructure.

He also said that views were exchanged on the situation on the battlefield, ongoing peace efforts, and the future security architecture for Ukraine and the rest of Europe, adding: “I am grateful to Paulo and to Portugal for their unwavering support and solidarity.”
