European Parliament President Roberta Metsola issued a statement regarding the visit of Albanian Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi to the European Parliament.

Expressing her satisfaction with the visit, Metsola said: “We are pleased to welcome Albanian Parliament Speaker Niko Peleshi to the European Parliament.”

Referring to the content of the meeting and relations between the two institutions, Metsola stated: “We discussed Albania’s progress in reform and modernization and reaffirmed the strong partnership between our parliaments.”

Metsola concluded her statement by saying: “Let us maintain this momentum.”
