Sybiha held a Lublin Triangle foreign ministers meeting
Kyiv, July 16 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a meeting with Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski and Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kestutis Budrys.
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha held a foreign ministers' meeting of the Lublin Triangle with his Polish and Lithuanian counterparts.
Sybiha stated that they discussed coordinated steps to further strengthen regional security, develop defense cooperation, enhance Ukraine’s defense capacity, and increase pressure on Russia. He added, "We also discussed advancing Ukraine’s accession processes to the European Union and NATO. All three countries strongly share the commitment to Ukraine’s full membership in both institutions."
He emphasized that they also discussed cooperation in economy, logistics, transportation, business, and other areas, and continued:
"Within the Lublin Triangle framework, we decided to establish a 'Historians’ Forum' to strengthen dialogue on our shared history and joint historical research. We will propose to our leaders to hold a summit in Kyiv in the Lublin Triangle format and agreed to hold ministerial-level meetings at least twice a year."
