Strategic partnership talks between Qatar and the United States
Washington, December 19 (Hibya) – Qatar’s Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, held a series of meetings in Washington with senior United States (US) officials within the framework of the Qatar–US Strategic Dialogue.
Minister of State Al Khulaifi met with senior US officials in Washington as part of the seventh strategic dialogue.
During the meetings, Al Khulaifi held separate talks with Paul Kapur, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs; Massad Boulos, Presidential Envoy and Senior Advisor for Africa; Michael Kozak, Acting Assistant Secretary for Western Hemisphere Affairs; Robert Palladino, Senior Official for Near Eastern Affairs; and Ben Black, CEO of the US International Development Finance Corporation.
The meetings addressed the close bilateral relations between the two countries, strengthening cooperation across various fields, and shared perspectives on regional and international issues. The US side underscored the importance of continuing coordination and consultations with Qatar and reaffirmed Qatar’s role as a reliable mediator and partner in resolving regional and international conflicts.
