UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer made a statement regarding the local development-focused “Pride in Place” program.

Highlighting the values of the British people, Starmer said, “I love this country. It is the greatest country in the world. We are tolerant, honest and respectful; unity is our strength. But for far too long, proud communities have been neglected by politics and left powerless to do anything about it.”

Stating that the “Pride in Place” program is changing this picture, Starmer emphasized that local people should be able to determine their own future.
