Starmer meets with Ukrainian President Zelensky
London, March 17 (Hibya) - UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced that during his meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, the two countries reached a new defense partnership agreement aimed at strengthening military innovation and defense capacity.

Referring to the security crises in the Middle East and Europe, Starmer said: "The conflict in the Middle East has increased the need for rapid military innovation. This is vital for our national and economic security."
Highlighting the new cooperation protocol signed with Ukraine, the Prime Minister stated: "Today, we have reached an agreement on a new defense partnership between Ukraine and the United Kingdom."
Emphasizing the strategic importance of the agreement, Starmer said: "This partnership will strengthen Ukraine's ability to defend itself against Russia's brutal attacks and ensure that the UK and our allies are prepared for future threats."
