Spajic meets with IFC Managing Director Diop
Dubai, February 3 (Hibya) – Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajic said during his meeting with International Finance Corporation (IFC) Managing Director Makhtar Diop that the IFC will provide full support for the completion of Montenegro’s airport tender process and green transition projects.
Montenegro’s Prime Minister Milojko Spajic held a meeting in Dubai with Makhtar Diop, Managing Director of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), part of the World Bank Group.
Providing information about the content of the meeting, Spajic said: “The International Finance Corporation (IFC) (World Bank) is providing full support to the Government of Montenegro to complete the Montenegro airports tender process, which began seven years ago, in line with the interests of the country and its citizens.”
Spajic added: “During our meeting in Dubai with IFC Managing Director Makhtar Diop, we discussed the projects that Montenegro is implementing and planning, particularly in the fields of transport infrastructure and green transition.”
Emphasizing the IFC’s role in the projects, Spajic concluded: “The IFC is ready to support these projects through special financial instruments, expertise, and technical assistance in line with international standards and best practices.”
