Sanchez said, "On behalf of all Spaniards and the Spanish Government, I wish our military personnel serving abroad a happy holiday and success."
Expressing his wishes for 2026, Sanchez said, "May 2026 bring peace to many corners of the world that need it. You are the ones building this peace day by day."
