Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar spoke about the policies of the Spanish government.

Criticizing Spain’s stance, Saar said: "For a long time, the Spanish government under Sanchez has been working against the State of Israel in every possible way. Sanchez and his ministers spread baseless blood libels about Israel and its army, defame and incite against Israel and Prime Minister Netanyahu".

Referring to the diplomatic struggle in international institutions, Saar said: "They are trying to harm us in international institutions, including repeated (unsuccessful) attempts to impose sanctions against us in the European Union".

Saar added: "During the war against Iran, they harmed the interests of both us and our ally, the United States".

Explaining Spain’s position in peace processes, Saar concluded: "Spain’s obsessive anti-Israel bias under Sanchez is so clear that it has completely lost the ability to play a useful role in implementing Trump’s peace plan and the center operating within it".
