Saar: Albania adds Iran to list of state sponsors of terrorism
Jerusalem, March 17 (Hibya) - Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar praised Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama and the parliament for adopting a historic decision that defines Iran as a state supporting terrorism.
Israeli Foreign Minister Saar praised Albanian Prime Minister Rama and the Albanian Parliament for the historic decision adopted today. Under the decision, the Islamic Republic of Iran was officially declared a “state sponsor of terrorism.”
Saar highlighted the statement in the decision text: “All forms of terrorism are among the most serious threats to democratic societies,” and described this step as a reflection of Albania’s clear moral stance in its foreign policy.
