Russell: Children in Somalia need urgent and sustained support
New York, February 25 (Hibya) - United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Executive Director Catherine Russell stated that children in Somalia need urgent and sustained support.
UNICEF Executive Director Russell said that in Somalia, UNICEF has scaled up treatment for severe malnutrition, ensured access to safe water, and supported health services in areas most affected by drought, but needs exceed available resources.
Russell emphasized that children in Somalia require urgent and continuous support.
