Russell calls for strengthening children’s rights
New York, November 20 (Hibya) – UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell called on countries and communities to listen to children’s voices and to firmly protect their rights.
Russell emphasized that building the future children deserve requires a renewed global commitment.
Highlighting the need to listen to children’s voices, she noted that children’s rights must not only be heard but also protected and implemented. On the occasion of World Children’s Day, Russell reiterated her call to all countries, institutions, and communities to strengthen children’s rights.
