US Secretary of State Rubio said that the United States has sent its first humanitarian aid shipment to Cuba to assist people in need who are trying to recover from the impacts of Hurricane Melissa.
Stating that they are working with the Catholic Church and its partners to ensure that the aid reaches the Cuban people directly, Rubio said: “Not the illegitimate regime. The Trump administration stands with the Cuban people.”
