Radev: Measures to be taken will be among the priorities of the new government
Sofia, May 8 (Hibya) - Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev announced that measures to reverse the trend of rising prices will be among the priorities of the new government.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev stated that legislative amendments are already being prepared to clarify the pricing process and prevent unfair competition.
Radev said that no price cap would be introduced, but that they would use all tools of the market economy to clarify prices and shorten retail chains.
Emphasizing cooperation, Radev underlined the possibilities for collaboration to ensure that Bulgarian producers gain faster and easier access to the market.
Referring also to the responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior, Radev stated that the Ministry’s efforts would be redirected from ensuring fair elections and combating vote buying toward fighting corruption and lawlessness.
