Naydenov said, “Our first task is to establish new rules on how the new Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) will be elected.”
Referring to the content of judicial reform, Naydenov stated, “Judicial reform is a concept that has begun to be stripped of its substance; there is constant talk about it and about dependencies that should have been eliminated long ago.”
Former Minister Andrey Yankulov wished success to the new minister, saying, “Mr. Naydenov is coming to the Ministry of Justice at a difficult time because expectations for the regular government and its responsibilities are high, but public support is also strong.”
