Qatar-Uzbekistan Strategic Partnership Meeting Held
Doha, September 11 (Hibya) – The first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Coordination Council between Qatar and Uzbekistan was held in Doha.
According to a statement from the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, co-chaired the inaugural meeting of the Coordination Council for the strategic partnership between the two countries in Doha. The statement on the meeting said:
"At the beginning of the meeting, the Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister welcomed his Uzbek counterpart and the accompanying delegation; he also conveyed the sincere wishes of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, for the Council’s success and for the further development of the multifaceted relations between Qatar and Uzbekistan."
