Prevot stated that he had not opposed inviting Reza Pahlavi to parliament and that he respected parliament's freedom and autonomy to engage with foreign political figures. However, emphasizing that the Iranian opposition and diaspora comprise diverse groups, Prevot suggested extending invitations as broadly as possible to ensure that different perspectives could be heard in the interest of democratic balance.
