President Abbas to Present Palestinian Vision at Emergency Arab Summit in Cairo
Ramallah, February 22, 2025 (WAFA) - The Palestinian Presidency announced that President Mahmoud Abbas is ready to present the Palestinian vision at the Emergency Arab Summit in Cairo on March 4, to address the challenges facing the Palestinian cause.
According to the presidential statement, the plan includes elements that will protect the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, strengthen their resilience and stability on their land, prevent displacement attempts, and rebuild everything that the occupation has destroyed in Gaza and the West Bank.
The statement added: "This will lead to the implementation of international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative, the end of the Israeli occupation, and the establishment of a Palestinian state within the 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital."
