Prague, March 6 (Hibya) – Czech President Petr Pavel issued a message on the anniversary of the Czech Republic's accession to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
Czech President Petr Pavel shared a message on the anniversary of his country’s accession to NATO.
Pavel noted that the Czech Republic joined NATO 26 years ago, stating: "Thus, we became part of a community willing and capable of defending not only our territory but also our freedom and values."
He emphasized that NATO is only as strong as each of its members, adding: "Therefore, we must particularly strengthen the European pillar of the Alliance. The Czech Republic is ready to continue working resolutely to ensure both its own security and shared security."
