Palestinian Foreign Ministry calls on UN Security Council
Ramallah, August 4 (Hibya) – The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the United Nations Security Council to take responsibility, immediately stop the war, and visit the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry urged the UN Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities under international law, implement a ceasefire immediately, and for Council members to make an official visit to the Gaza Strip.
The Ministry called on the Council to stop the crimes of genocide, forced displacement, and annexation against the Palestinian people; to implement the ceasefire without delay; to adopt and put into effect the outcomes of the international conference on the Palestinian issue; and to take steps toward implementing a two-state solution.
