Ambassador Omar Awadallah, Undersecretary for Political Affairs at the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, met with a delegation from Hebron University at the ministry's headquarters on Wednesday.

The meeting addressed ways to strengthen cooperation between the ministry and the university, particularly by supporting educational programs in diplomacy and incorporating the ministry's professional and diplomatic experience into academic education. The cooperation aims to develop students' academic and professional skills and combine theoretical knowledge with practical experience.

Awadallah emphasized the importance of cooperation with Palestinian academic institutions in developing specialized programs in diplomacy and international relations. He stated that these efforts would contribute to training qualified Palestinian professionals capable of understanding and carrying out diplomatic activities, while strengthening young people's capacities in this field.

The Hebron University delegation highlighted the ministry's role in representing the State of Palestine internationally and strengthening its international relations, emphasizing the importance of expanding academic cooperation and sharing expertise.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to maintain communication and coordination and develop areas of joint work in the coming period to support national institutions and Palestine's academic sector.
