In its statement, the Presidency strongly denounced the ongoing shedding of Palestinian blood in the Gaza Strip. Despite the ceasefire, continued bombardment by the occupying forces resulted in the deaths of 14 Palestinians over the past 24 hours.

The Presidency stated that Israel’s policies of land confiscation or restricting the freedom and movement of the Palestinian people would not create any legitimacy and could not deprive the Palestinian people of their rights over their homeland.

The Presidency also called on the international community, the European Union, Russia, China, and particularly the United States to halt what it described as a genocidal war against the Palestinian people.

It was emphasized that the occupying authorities must be compelled to stop steps that fuel the cycle of violence and conflict in the region, noting that such actions undermine American, Arab, and international efforts to maintain the ceasefire achieved within the framework of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan and United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.
