Pakistan and Iran foreign ministers hold phone call
Islamabad, May 4 (Hibya) – Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a late-night phone call yesterday with Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.
During the call, the foreign ministers of Pakistan and Iran discussed regional developments and Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at ensuring peace and stability in the region.
Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi expressed satisfaction with Pakistan’s constructive role and its sincere mediation efforts between the parties.
The Pakistani side reaffirmed its commitment to supporting constructive engagement, emphasizing that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable means for resolving disputes peacefully.
The statement highlighted the importance of diplomatic contacts in achieving lasting peace and stability in the region and beyond.
