Orban: It is our duty not to allow such evil to return
Budapest, January 27 (Hibya) – Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban warned against the renewed rise of antisemitism in Europe while commemorating the victims of the Holocaust.
Hungarian Prime Minister Orban commemorated the victims in a statement marking Holocaust Remembrance Day. Orban said, “Today we remember the victims of the Holocaust. In Hungary, this tragedy has names and faces; many families were torn apart.”
Stressing that remembrance does not only mean recalling the past, Orban added, “As antisemitism rises again in Europe, it is our duty never to allow such evil to return.”
