Netanyahu stated that the situation in Suwayda and southwestern Syria is extremely serious.

He noted that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) are conducting operations, the Air Force is active, and other units are also engaged.

"We have taken action to rescue our Druze brothers and eliminate the regime's militias. I have only one request: You are Israeli citizens. Do not cross the border. You are risking your lives; you could be killed or taken hostage, and this hinders the IDF’s efforts. Therefore, I ask you: return to your homes and allow the IDF to carry out its mission," he said.
