Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a statement regarding the course of the operation following a security meeting with the Defense Minister, the Chief of Staff, and the head of the Mossad.

Stating that he had issued the necessary instructions for the continuation of the operation, Netanyahu referred to the toll of the attacks against the Iranian regime.

Netanyahu said, “Yesterday we overthrew the dictator Khamenei. Along with him, we eliminated dozens of senior figures of the oppressive regime,” adding that Israeli forces are currently advancing in the heart of Tehran with increasing intensity and that this momentum will intensify in the coming days.

Referring to the losses in the process, Prime Minister Netanyahu said, “My heart is with the families, and on behalf of all of you as citizens of Israel, I wish a speedy recovery to the wounded. To secure our existence and our future, we are conducting a campaign in which the full power of the Israel Defense Forces has been mobilized as never before.”

Emphasizing that they have the full support of United States President Donald Trump and the U.S. military in this operation, Netanyahu said, “The combination of these forces allows us to do what I have hoped to do for 40 years: to deliver a complete and root-and-branch blow to the terrorist regime. I promised, and we will do it.”
