Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that they are closely monitoring the ongoing protests in Iran.

Noting that demonstrations demanding freedom have spread across the country, Netanyahu said that the courage displayed by Iranian citizens is held in high regard by the global public.

Emphasizing that Israel supports the Iranian people’s struggle for freedom, Netanyahu said they strongly condemn the targeting of innocent civilians.

Netanyahu expressed hope for a future in which the Iranian people will be freed from oppression, adding that at the end of this process a new era based on cooperation between Israel and Iran could begin.
