North Macedonia’s Foreign Minister Timço Mucunski attended the NATO Foreign Ministers’ meeting held in Brussels at the invitation of NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte.

Mucunski stated that the meeting, the first since the Historic Summit, addressed developments in Ukraine and potential steps toward the peace process.

Commenting on the meeting, he said: “We are discussing preparations, coordinated support, and existing opportunities for a sustainable and principled peace in Ukraine.”

He added: “There is a clear opportunity for progress, and we will support every credible step toward a peaceful solution.”

Minister Mucunski noted that the talks were taking place at a decisive moment for common security and the future of Europe.
