Mixed trading in Asian stock markets
Istanbul, August 25 (Hibya) - Asian markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading session.
Asian markets showed a mixed performance during the week's trading session. Stock markets in Australia and Japan rose, while markets in India, Hong Kong and China declined.
In Australia, the ASX 200 index rose 0.63 percent to 9,160.10 points. In Japan, the Nikkei 225 index gained 0.33 percent to reach 65,741.23 points.
In India, the NIFTY 50 index fell 0.33 percent to 24,138.50 points, while Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index (HSI) traded at 25,453.19 points, down 0.25 percent.
In China, the Shanghai Composite index lost 0.14 percent and ended the day at 3,876.379 points.
