The Palestinian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Varsin Agabekyan Shahin, held a meeting with ambassadors of Arab countries in Belgium as part of her participation in the 5th Ministerial Meeting between the European Union and Southern Neighbourhood countries.

The meeting discussed coordinating a common Arab position to halt genocide crimes and support the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

Shahin highlighted the existential threats facing the Palestinian cause, pointing to the sharp rise in forced displacement and illegal settlements, and the complete disappearance of hope for a political solution. She stated that what is happening in Gaza constitutes genocide by all legal and humanitarian standards.
